to Host Pitch Event
at Edinburgh Festival Fringe
In August 2025, SOIL will host a special pitch event titled “Japan Selection by SOIL” at the world’s largest performing arts festival, the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. This event introduces Japanese performing arts productions with global ambitions to international presenters.
Through this initiative, producers and creators selected by the SOIL program will present their works directly to global festival directors, producers, and other industry professionals, showcasing the artistic appeal and international touring potential of each piece.
As Japan’s first large-scale cross-sector effort of its kind, the event represents a major step in expanding the international presence of Japanese performing arts. It also provides a vital platform for professional exchange and global collaboration.
