Established in 2020 during Japan’s first pandemic-related theater shutdowns, this organization began as a survey on the impact of cancellations and grew into a nationwide network.
Legalized in 2021, it now unites over 250 members as Japan’s leading cross-sector network driving sustainable growth in the performing arts.
SOIL is a JPASN project dedicated to bringing Japanese theater to the world.
