Overview:
This musical is based on the manga series ATTACK on TITAN by Hajime Isayama from Bessatsu Shōnen Magazine, published by Kodansha. The production premiered in Tokyo and Osaka in January 2023. Its innovative staging seamlessly blending cutting-edge technology and stage mechanics with traditional theatrical techniques, the scale of the Titans on stage, and the dynamic mix of music, dance, and action, gained attention from the public and ended in a highly successful run. The musical had it's world premier in October 2024 at the New York City Center. Approximately 9,000 tickets over four performances sold out. Synopsis:
In order to flee from the Titans that devoured humans,
humanity built three enormous walls and obtained peace in exchange for their freedom.
For one hundred years, that peace endured until one day, it shattered.
On that day, mankind received a grim reminder.
We lived in fear of the Titans and were disgraced to live in these cages we called walls.
The appearance of the Colossal Titan brought devastation to humanity's world, taking from them even those they held most dear.
Staring at the Titan before him, the young Eren swore with hatred.
I'm gonna destroy them!!
Every last one of those animals,,,
that's on this Earth!!

Beloved by fans around the globe, ATTACK on TITAN is brought to life on stage through a dynamic blend of music, dance, and captivating action scenes unique to live performance.
◆Innovative depiction of the Titans and thrilling aerial action
The iconic Titans come to life on stage using inflatables, puppets, and video projections.
The action sequences featuring the Omni-Directional Mobility Gear combine wire work and projection technology to recreate the characters' high-speed movement and intense battles against the Titans.
These spectacular action scenes that unfold live before the audience, are one of the production's biggest highlights.
